Full Arch Replacement- Teeth in A Day

ALL TEETH MISSING or NEED REPLACEMENT

When all teeth are missing, or in such condition that they need to be replaced, a fixed bridge anchored to dental implants is the best permanent solution.

Before dental implants, there was no fixed solution available for people who lost all of their teeth. Today, it is possible to replace a full jaw with only FOUR dental implants and a fixed bridge that results in a permanent, stable and highly esthetic solution- IN JUST ONE DAY.

BENEFITS OF REPLACING ALL YOUR TEETH WITH FOUR DENTAL IMPLANTS

  • In JUST ONE DAY, you can have a brand new smile, that is fixed (not a denture)
  • FOUR dental implants are less expensive than Five, Six, or Eight
  • No more dentures or unstable teeth
  • No need for Bone Grafting Procedures or Sinus Lifts
  • Patients are less sore with "Teeth-in-a-Day" than conventional techniques

     ALTERNATIVES TO A FIXED BRIDGE

Removable, overdenture.  An alternative to a fixed bridge is a removable overdenture.  Essentially, it is a denture that has attachments on it that connect to the implants.  It is more stable than a denture because it is supported by the implants and the attachments; however, it is less stable than a fixed bridge.  A 2-implant supported overdenture is often considered the standard of care for patients missing their lower teeth because of the instability of the lower denture.  It is often chosen instead of a fixed bridge because of the cost.  Patients wear a denture while implants are integrating in bone.

    Removable full denture
A denture replaces missing teeth.  Top dentures are usually more stable than lower dentures because the roof of the mouth offers more support.  This is generally chosen if patients cannot afford an implant supported prosthesis.

The disadvantages are many: discomfort in eating, sore gums from denture movement, and continuous resorption of bone as the patient continues to wear the denture. Also, a full denture placed in the upper jaw can severely reduce the sense of taste.
